Dean of Students Bronx, NY Schedule:
M-F Temp to Hire FlexStaff is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Dean of Students, for their client, a higher education institution. This position plays a vital role in the smooth functioning of the Dean of Students office, requiring exceptional communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the Dean’s complex calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. Screen and direct phone calls, emails, and visitors, exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality. Coordinate and manage logistics for events and meetings Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both physical and electronic. Process expense reports and invoices. Conduct research and gather information as requested by the Dean. Collaborate effectively with other departments and staff members. Anticipate the Dean’s needs and proactively address them. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience providing executive-level administrative support. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as EPRO/Micromane/Egencia and adept at learning new software programs Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Experience in higher education setting preferred. Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

$28.00 – $30.00 per hour
