POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Executive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President, Human Resources in our York offices. The position will encompass a variety of administrative and human resources related responsibilities requiring a high level of trust & confidentiality, excellent organizational & communication skills, and all-related interpersonal skills. This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days per week in the York office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the HR Executive’s calendar, including scheduling meetings and travel arrangements
Organize and support meetings for HR Executive and team including reserving conference rooms, sending meeting invitations, arranging technical support, placing catering requests, and preparing security access
Prepare expense reports for HR Executive and other team members
Manage invoice submission process for department
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents as needed
Send out company wide communications
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Assist in the preparation and administration of HR policies and procedures
Maintain/archive files that may contain confidential information
Responsible for various reporting requests
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, programs, and other HR-related matters
Prepare and launch documents for e-signatures
Coordinate Facilities and IT requestsfor department
Distribute department mail; arrange messenger and overnight package services; order/maintain department supplies
Assist in projects as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned
Liaise and build relationships with other groups and the administrative community within the organization
Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Your qualifications and experience should include: College degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years executive level administrative experience, preferable within Human Resources
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to plan ahead and anticipate needs of the team
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to problem solve
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
Collaborative team player, working professionally with other departments and assistants
Proficient in

MS Office:

Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Adobe
Prior experience with HRIS preferred. Workday ideal.

Employee stock purchase plan (Sony covers commissions and fees for your Sony stock purchases made through after-tax payroll deductions) The target annualized base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $83,000. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime. In addition to the annual base salary, this role has an annual bonus target of 5%.This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
