Requirements / Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field.

      Experience:

      1-2 years of experience in admissions, digital marketing, or social media management.

        Technical Skills:

        o Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
        o Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Salesforce) to manage and track applicant data.
        o Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Spark to create engaging visual content.
        o Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to track engagement and campaign performance.
        o Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) for outreach and engagement.

          Additional Skills:

          o Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with prospective students and families.
          o Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
          o Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and digital engagement.
          o Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the admissions and marketing teams.

          Position Overview
          We are looking for a tech-savvy and marketing-oriented Admissions Officer to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, social media management, and CRM systems, along with excellent communication skills to engage with prospective students and families effectively.
          Key Responsibilities

          • Serve as the primary contact for prospective students and families, guiding them through the admissions process and answering questions about NYMA.
          • Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to enhance NYMA’s online presence and engage prospective students.
          • Manage and maintain NYMA’s admissions CRM system, tracking inquiries, application statuses, and communications.
          • Collaborate with the admissions and marketing teams to create digital content, including videos, graphics, and email newsletters, that highlights NYMA’s programs, campus life, and unique educational approach.
          • Conduct virtual and in-person campus tours, admissions interviews, and open house events.
          • Analyze data from marketing campaigns and social media to assess effectiveness and refine strategies.
          • Represent NYMA at recruitment fairs, community events, and online webinars to promote our programs.
