Job Purpose The Executive Assistant will provide support to theCMO, as well as backup support to the CEO with diverseadministrative duties and create a positive first impression ofOcugen. This position will report to the Senior Executive BusinessManager. Duties and responsibilities Administrative support toinclude heavy calendar management, domestic and internationaltravel, preparing presentations and itineraries, expense reportingCoordinate and manage a high level of internal and externalmeetings to ensure all logistics, i.e. conference rooms, venue,telecommunications equipment, catering, etc., and meeting materialsare meticulously planned and prepared. Organize and coordinateoffice administrative procedures Manage confidential information,exercising a high level of discretion Schedule Board of Directorsand Scientific Advisory Board meetings Resolve routine andnon-routine inquiries, filtering and managing requests, providinginformation through independent research and use ofinternal/external resources Organize paperwork and files in a waythat is easily retrievable Provide support to all departments asrequested Maintain effective relationships with internal andexternal contacts Additional tasks and projects as requested Mayoccasionally need to travel with executives to conferences andoff-site meetings Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in businessdiscipline required Minimum of 10 years in an administrative role,preferable with at least 5 years supporting senior management,Board interactions preferred Top notch technical (MS Office Suite)and written verbal/communication skills Demonstrated ability totake ownership, initiate and establish priorities, anticipate needsand handle multiple tasks simultaneously under demanding timeconstraints with minimal direction, in order to deliver oncommitments and deadlines Demonstrated ability to maintain strictand complete confidentiality and must exercise discretion andindependent judgement with respect to matters of significance Highattention to detail with excellent organization and planning skillsFlexibility to adjust schedule according to business demands Musthave 24/7 mentality and occasionally be available onweekends/evenings for support Working Conditions Incumbent willprimarily work Monday – Friday during normal business hours in anoffice environment.
