Bryn Mawr College has an opening for an Executive Assistant in the President’s Office.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Executive Assistant, President’s Office The Executive Assistant to the President’s Office provides high-level administrative support to the President and Chief of Staff. The Executive Assistant acts as a liaison between the President and internal/external stakeholders, managing the office’s complex calendars, correspondence, meetings, travel, and interactions with members of the campus community and the public. Serve as a key liaison between the President and senior leadership, trustees, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external partners establishing a welcoming and warm tone for the office. Ensures files are kept up-to-date and well-organized. Tracks due dates and follow up for conferences, seminars, nominations, and materials that require the attention of the President. Collaborates with other members of the President’s Office staff on execution of events and projects.

https://apply.interfolio.com/169376 QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree and or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of five years of experience in a senior administrative or executive support role. Proficiency with office software; with web-based email, calendar, and scheduling systems and with additional computer applications relevant to the position (such as Financial Edge, Moodle, PeopleSoft database, Workday, Zoom); ability to learn and use new computer applications as they become applicable to the position. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Exceptional levels of discretion and judgment dealing with complicated issues which require confidentiality, tact and diplomacy. Superior interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills. Ability to work as a member of a team, and to build positive relationships with colleagues across the campus. Ability to relate well to diverse populations and to help foster a n inclusive community Adaptable and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Valid driver’s license and willingness to transport guests of the College on occasion.
Preferred:
Experience in a higher education or nonprofit executive environment Familiarity with board governance and senior leadership structures
