Full Job Description Overview:
Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) is seeking an Executive Assistant/Coordinator to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site. This Executive Assistant/Coordinator will be working in the Programs, Design, and Project Engineering organization. Under limited supervision, provides advanced, diversified, confidential and moderately complex administrative and clerical assistance to one or more executive team members requiring tact, diplomacy and judgment in addition to broad and considerable experience.
Responsibilities:
Administers new hire onboarding (full service and interns) to include coordination of all computer resources and programs/databases. Schedules and coordinates meetings within the organization and with other SRMC organizations Responsible for maintaining, tracking, and coordinating reviews for all vendor submittals in conjunction with Project Engineers and Procurement Tracks and monitors attendance to required meetings ensuring all within the organization are compliant per company guidelines Submits records to Engineering Plant and Facilities Management (EPFM), Electronic Document Workflow System (EDWS), and Records Management Maintains records, prepares and distributes reports for Subcontractors working within the organization Updates organizational chart for Programs, Design, and Project Engineering organization Tracks organization’s yearly calendar for Paid Time Off (PTO) Orders and maintains all office supplies, materials, etc. for organization Serve as administrative liaison with other SRMC organizations and other site organizations Provides backup administrative support to Salt Waste Processing Facility (SWPF) and Chief Engineer Utilizes personal computers or electronic devices including keyboarding, databases, spreadsheets, presentations, conversion software, document control, or other applications/programs specific to SRMC Completes tasks such as gathering, composing, tracking, tabulating, summarizing, organizing, and distributing information Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university OR High School Diploma or GED and professional, administrative, secretarial, or clerical experience related to the position’s responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Interpersonal skills including the ability to work with all levels within the organization. Communication skills to effectively communicate both orally and in writing; proficient in spelling and grammar. Ability to work as a team member and team lead Knowledge of personal computers and applications included in MS Office Suite or position-specific software/hardware Ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to maintain confidentiality with demonstrated ability to use discretion and good judgment Strong initiative ability to assess changing conditions and react accordingly Excellent time management skills.
