Job Description
Executive Assistant 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars Lexington, SC 29072 Medical Services of America is seeking a Full-time Executive Assistant for our Corporate Office in Lexington, SC . This position is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to assigned executives.
Other responsibilities include:
Screens and prioritizes mail and phone calls, and composes memorandums. Conducts research, prepares data, and analyzes reports used in managing day to day business activities. Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Vice President including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings. Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the Vice President’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff. Works closely and effectively with the Vice President to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Acts as a “barometer”, having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the Vice President updated. Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the Vice President, some of which may have organizational impact. Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgment letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the Vice President’s ability to effectively lead the company.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. College degree strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing support at a high level. Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and external partners. Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
