We are currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant to support the Agency Director of a mission-driven state organization that plays a pivotal role in advancing early childhood development across South Carolina. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual looking to grow in a dynamic, impactful environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide executive-level operational and administrative support to the Agency Director
Manage calendars and schedule meetings with high-level stakeholders, including government and business leaders
Prepare professional communications, reports, and summary memos
Conduct research and compile findings for use in strategic planning and decision-making
Assist with special projects and ensure timely follow-up on action items
Support the coordination of internal and external meetings, including logistics and documentation Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00
PM Skills:
Experience working in a government or nonprofit setting
Knowledge of early childhood education programs or social services
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Experience handling legislative or policy-related communications …
Education:
Bachelors Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or a related field required
Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS)
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
