With rapidly growing operations and national expansion goals, we’re seeking a sharp, organized, and proactive Executive Assistant to serve as the right hand to our CEO. Position Summary The Executive Assistant will support the CEO with high-level administrative, strategic, and operational tasks. This role requires a resourceful, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. The ideal candidate is confident, discreet, mission-aligned, and thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Project & Task Coordination Track deliverables and deadlines for key strategic initiatives Support business development, vendor relations, and partner follow-up Help with scheduling, research, and drafting of presentations, reports, and decks Client, Partner & Internal Relations Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO Prepare meeting agendas, briefing documents, and post-meeting summaries Ensure timely follow-up and accountability across executive priorities Business Support & Confidentiality Draft correspondence, contracts, memos, and press statements as needed Maintain discretion with all sensitive or proprietary business matters Support affiliate programs, digital communications, and operational tracking tools
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with military organizations, nonprofits, or pet-related industries. Familiarity with CRM platforms and donor management systems. Experience in fundraising or sponsorship development. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred 3+ years’ experience supporting C-suite or executive leadership (pet care, hospitality, or nonprofit background a plus) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail overseeing staff taskings Comfortable using productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Asana, Canva, and Zoom Ability to thrive independently with limited supervision in a mission-driven organization A deep love of dogs and respect for the military community is essential Preferred Traits Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive mindset High EQ and professional discretion Warm, clear communicator with a service-first attitude Eagerness to grow with a scaling organization Professional demeanor and presentation & ability to interface with executives
