File/Front Desk Clerk PRI Construction Materials Technologies Tampa, FL 33610 PRI Construction Materials Technologies , LLC (PRI-CMT) is an independent, accredited testing laboratory dedicated to the construction materials industry; we are recognized as both an ISO/IEC Standard 17025 testing laboratory and an ISO/IEC Standard 17020 inspection agency by the International Accreditation Service, Inc. (IAS). Our objective is simple, to provide the finest in testing, inspection, and litigation support services for our clients. Our services are backed by our state-of-the-art equipped facility, dedicated staff, and deep industry expertise. Our expertise encompasses the entire building envelope, including roof coverings, water-resistive barriers, air barriers, exterior sidings, fenestration openings, insulations & radiant barriers, ventilation systems, coatings & adhesives, and more. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining an efficient filing system, ensuring that documents are accurately organized, stored, and easily retrievable. This role requires a high level of patience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key responsibilities:
Sort, organize, and file physical and digital documents accurately and efficiently. Maintain and update filing systems to ensure easy access to records. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Conduct regular audits to verify file integrity and correct misfiled or missing documents. Label and categorize files in accordance with established systems. Assist with scanning and converting documents to digital format. Manage file archiving and purging procedures following company policy.
Education :
Minimum:
High School Diploma /
GED Experience/Skills :
Minimum:
1+ years of related experience (e.g. file clerk, administrative assistant etc.)
Preferred:
3+ years of related experience (e.g. file clerk, administrative assistant etc.)
Physical Conditions:
Minimum:
Able to lift 25+ lbs, Able to stand for long periods of time. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High level of patience and consistency in repetitive tasks. Proficiency with filing systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, scanners).
