Job Description:

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Traffic Sign Designer and Printer Operator. In this role, you will create regulatory and custom traffic signage using design software and operate large-format printers, plotters, and laminators. This is a hands-on position that blends creativity with production and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Design NCDOT & MUTCD-compliant traffic and construction signs Operate wide-format printers and vinyl cutters Apply graphics and reflective sheeting to sign blanks Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory Ensure all signage meets DOT and customer specifications Assist with packaging and shipping finished products Assist in any other areas within the organization that may include helping other divisions (Graphics) complete orders.

Qualifications:

Experience with FLEXI, Adobe Illustrator or similar design & printer operating softwares within the traffic sign industry(required) Familiarity with traffic signage standards MUTCD (required) & NCDOT (preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Willingness to learn and grow with the company The preferred candidate will have some experience manufacturing traffic signs that meet MUTCD and NCDOT specifications and a strong understanding of the best practices.
