The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, particularly in Workers Compensation and Personal Injury law. Responsibilities We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Litigation Assistant to join our fast-paced and collaborative legal team. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for client service. This role supports The Construction Litigation Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Legal Assistants and Paralegals Supporting 5 Attorneys with administrative duties.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of law firm experience Knowledge of litigation processes and legal documentation Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal e-filing systems Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently Strong interpersonal and communication skills Positive, punctual, and dependable team player Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops, computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, in a home office as well as an in-person office environment. Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds. This position is generally performed in a professional office setting; 70% sitting, 20% standing, and 10% walking. The physical requirements described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
