Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00
PM Lunch:
One-hour paid lunch daily Are you a professional, polished legal receptionist with a passion for delivering exceptional first impressions? We’re looking for a dedicated Legal Receptionist to join our well-established personal injury law firm. As the first point of contact for our valued clients, you’ll play a key role in shaping their experience with us. To be considered for this role, prior experience as a legal receptionist or legal secretary is required. Experience in a personal injury firm is strongly preferred. If you have even more experience, such as a paralegal, do not hesitate to contact us – pay to commensurate with experience. We can tailor the role for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly and professionally greet clients and maintain accurate records of visits, calls, and messages Conduct client intakes with a high level of attention to detail Open and manage case files and legal documents Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including scanning and preparing materials Conduct basic legal research and collect relevant case information Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy Perform data entry and maintain internal databases Request and track medical records Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff Assist clients with technology support (e.g., Zoom logins) Serve as a notary public
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Calendar) Familiarity with legal terminology, processes, and documentation Strong organizational, clerical, and multitasking abilities High level of accuracy in document handling and data entry Prior experience with legal case management software (we are currently transitioning to FileVine) Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Friendly, professional, and client-focused demeanor Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required Why Join Us?
