1373965_1745260675 Job Summary Description A full-service commercial law firm serving clients throughout Florida; is seeking a full time Corporate Legal Secretary with a minimum of 3 years of transactional experience in mergers & acquisitions and securities to work from our Downtown Miami office. Responsibilities
Format, type and proof complex legal documents using CompareRite or other redlining applications
Manage internal and client deadlines
Prepare and edit correspondence, minutes of meetings and other legal documents from written, oral and dictated sources
Maintain and properly close and/or purge files; scan and file Firm and Client correspondence and legal documents into I-Manage
Prepare new business records, engagement letters
Input and edit attorney’s time and review pre-bills
Schedule meetings and make travel arrangements
Answer telephone, distribute messages; set up conference calls; send and receive emails and faxes; resolve issues as needed; open, sort and distribute mail
Reconcile expense reimbursements; process check and petty cash requests
Maintain attorney’s calendars; schedule inside and outside meetings; reserve conference rooms; order food and/or refreshments
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of legal secretarial experience in Corporate
Must have excellent proofreading, document formatting and redlining skills
Must pay close attention to detail and be extremely organized
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High degree of initiative and ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Must be punctual and reliable
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
Flexibility to work overtime
Microsoft Office 2016 knowledge with Excel, Outlook and advance knowledge of Word functions
