- $62,608 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid parental leave Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Employee stock ownership plan Qualifications Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Access Microsoft Outlook Management Real estate law Mid-level Microsoft Office High school diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree Organizational skills Paralegal Certificate Leadership 2 years Communication skills Property management Full Job Description Description Responsible for Document Preparation and Maintenance, including but not limited to: Oversee and complete data abstraction and analysis of Publix lease documents and legal documents where Publix maintains a lease Set up and activation of contracts in the Real Estate computer system, Compass Complete set up, maintenance and ongoing administration of Publix data in Compass, including changes in ownership, Landlord and Property Management data Track, calculate and commence all Publix leases in accordance with the legal documents Track all Publix lease expiration dates and other critical dates in accordance with the legal documents Prepare various letters and legal documents such as commencement letters, renewal letters, Estoppels and Subordination, Non-Disturbance and Attornment documents Set up, maintenance and ongoing administration of electronic and hard copy files associates with Publix leases and legal documents Responsible for reporting and communication of all Store Notices relating to Publix sites, including assignments of facility numbers Acting as a liaison between the Real Estate Department and other Publix departments regarding new Publix sites, all Store Notices, Publix Leases, change in ownership and reporting Information Technology Maintenance which includes creating entries and maintaining computer programs, databases and various reports Creating and maintaining procedural guides related to Compass and Publix Lease Administration processes Training and assisting associates with the use of Compass and Publix lease documents Supervising a File Clerk and overseeing the Real Estate Department File Room functions, including Records Management functions Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience Two years of real estate experience or 1 year with Publix Ability to read, interpret, and abstract various legal documents including, but not limited to: lease agreements, lease amendments, easement agreements, and declarations Knowledge of the site selection, property management and acquisition processes Ability to think analytically as well as possess professional communication skills (both written and verbal) Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to be flexible and highly productive while working independently with little to no supervision Possess a high degree of self-motivation and commitment, as well as possess strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while being organized and detail-oriented Possess an excellent attendance and punctuality record Capable of initiating and managing research efforts utilizing both internal and external resources as well as the ability to perform investigative work Ability to make appropriate decisions and recommendations Negotiation minded to successfully negotiate appropriate legal documents to accomplish desired results Ability to understand and interpret complex legal documents, including leases (build to suit, ground and pad leases) as well as possess an understanding as to how legal documents relate to one another Possess an in depth understanding of Real Estate financial terminology (rent, CAM, R/E Taxes, Cap, etc.

- 62,608 Year End Bonus To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.
In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
