Real Estate/Accounting Position Summary TheLease Administrator ensures all real estate lease terms andfinancial obligations are properly managed, documented, andexecuted in compliance with lease agreements. This role supportsthe real estate function by administering lease documentation,reviewing financial obligations, managing vendor data, andfacilitating communication between landlords, tenants, and internalteams. Key Responsibilities Draft lease amendments, renewals,terminations, notices, and landlord/subtenant correspondence.
Interpret lease language to advise internal stakeholders on tenantrights and responsibilities. Review, audit, and reconcile invoices,statements, and other lease-related documents. Negotiate andresolve landlord disputes, expense reductions, and accountreconciliations. Process lease documents for execution and maintainlease data in CoStar. Abstract leases and amendments to reflectrental obligations, payment terms, landlord changes, etc. Maintainaccurate vendor and landlord information in CoStar, includingownership changes and contact updates. Handle requests forCertificates of Insurance (COIs), Subordination, Non-DisturbanceAgreements (SNDAs), and Estoppels. Prepare monthly rent charges,request payments, and process reconciliations and reimbursements ontime. Track accounts receivable activity for all subleases.
Generate and distribute real estate reports for leadership (e.g.,payment activity, expense savings). Support the Lease Supervisor indeveloping improved lease administration processes. Perform otherduties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field 3-5 years ofexperience in commercial real estate, lease administration, or as aparalegal Strong understanding of lease terminology and documentinterpretation Exceptional organization, attention to detail, andproblem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and managemultiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
