The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our law office by providing administrative support; facilitating communication within the organization; tracking, documenting and implementing legal processes prior to court proceedings; completion of paperwork in preparation for attorney court appearances; and communicating with clients, the office team, and attorney. This position requires adherence to confidentiality protocol in all areas, excellent multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to the law firm team, clients, and visitors. Applicants must be willing to work at the Houston or Waynesville office with occasional travel within one hour of the work site. Duties Perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Exhibit professional phone etiquette while handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately. Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and visitors.. Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution. Operate phone systems to facilitate communication within the office. Utilize computer literacy to utilize office software applications effectively. Maintain organized digital and physical records following office protocol. Perform other tasks as assigned. Experience Candidates need to possess prior experience in administrative roles, paralegal work or similar positions, demonstrating proficiency in the following areas: Receptionist office duties for in-person and phone contacts. Friendly and professional with all interpersonal interactions. Confidentiality protocol essential in all areas. Skilled in note-taking, time management, and multi-tasking. Proficient in basic Office application and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Email). Organized with excellent attention to detail. Comfortable working with a team, sharing expertise and contributing. $16.00 – $19.00 per hour / Negotiable based on skills and experience Expected hours: 40 per week
