Bankruptcy Legal Secretary 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars St. Louis, MO 63101 • Hybrid work Beacon Hill is working with a premier regional law firm on an experienced Bankruptcy Legal Secretary opening. This is an exciting opportunity to support our highly regarded bankruptcy and creditor’s rights attorneys in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys specializing in bankruptcy and creditor’s rights Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents including petitions, schedules, motions, and correspondence File pleadings electronically in federal bankruptcy and district courts (CM/ECF proficiency required) Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules Organize and manage client files, including both paper and electronic filing systems Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel Coordinate billing and time entry for assigned attorneys

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of legal secretarial experience, with direct experience in bankruptcy law required Strong understanding of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy procedures and filings Familiarity with federal court procedures and electronic filing systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team We offer a collegial and supportive work culture, competitive compensation, and excellent benefits.
