Job Responsibilities

This position is located in Community Long-Term Care (CLTC), Richland County.
Are you the One? We are looking for an Administrative Specialist II who will work independently under the general supervision of the Area Administrator using discretion in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, timeliness standards and in dealing with confidential matters. Provides administrative support to all CLTC Office workers including assisting other CLTC offices with essential job functions according to program needs. Maintains a working knowledge of all CLTC programs and related systems including Phoenix information system.
Serves as local CLTC Office Admin.
Prepares and processes correspondence and other documentation.
Promotes Collaboration and Effective Communication.
Maintains office communication systems.
Performs paraprofessional duties.
Performs emergency preparedness duties or activities as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
High school diploma with clerical or paraprofessional experience.

Additional Requirements:

Occasional overnight travel.
Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
Lifting requirements: 20 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of and ability to use personal computer. Must be able to perform web-based software functions (keying data, run reports, update documents, etc.) The ability to multi-task within time frames and prioritize tasks. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Excellent data entry and organizational skills. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying office practices and procedures.

Preferred:

Phoenix application and workflow experience
