We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely medical billing and coding processes. Your primary responsibility will be to maximize revenue by efficiently managing the entire revenue cycle process.

Duties:

• Review and analyze medical records, claims, and billing data to ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, ICD-9) to diagnoses, procedures, and services
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Process claims for reimbursement from insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
• Collaborate with medical staff, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and billing information
• Provide support in medical collections as needed
• Stay updated on changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations
