Key Responsibilities:

Claims Processing:

Accurately prepare and submit insurance claims using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding. Review claims for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to payer-specific guidelines. Monitor and track the status of submitted claims to ensure timely reimbursement. Address and resolve any claim denials or rejections, including filing appeals when necessary.

Patient Billing:

Generate and send patient statements for services rendered. Work with patients to set up payment plans, process payments, and address billing inquiries. Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients and explain their financial responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required;

Compensation:

Skills:

Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
