• We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing processes and coding, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims.
• Duties
• Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
• Utilize medical collection practices for overdue accounts
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA guidelines
• Update patient accounts with payment or denial information
• Experience
• Proficiency in medical billing, coding, and terminology
• Knowledge of ICD-10, medical office systems
• Familiarity with medical records and insurance procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and insurance companies
