Wage:
$15.00/hr-$16.00/hr
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required Medical Billing/Insurance Aging Experience required Medical Terminology Knowledge preferred Strong understanding of medical billing and collection processes required required Outstanding communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills required
Responsibilities:
Review the superbills submitted by the provider and enter in the appropriate charges. Review the notes completed from the providers and enter in the diagnosis codes that correspond with the charges. Balance all the provider charges that have been assigned. Run daily balancing reports Work closely with a team of other charge entry specialists, billing manager and lead to keep charges going out in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned by the billing management team.

Physical Requirements:
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting of patients, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Requires sitting for extensive periods of time Requires corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges Requires working under stressful conditions and sometimes irregular hours Potential contact with bloodborne pathogens, bodily secretions, etc.
