The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy in coding, and facilitating timely collections. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and the ability to navigate various billing software. If you have experience in medical billing and coding, we encourage you to apply. Duties Process and submit insurance claims accurately using ICD-10 coding systems. Review patient records to ensure all necessary documentation is complete for billing purposes. Handle medical collections by following up on unpaid claims and communicating with insurance companies. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and billing regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any discrepancies related to billing or coding issues. Generate and send patient invoices while ensuring clarity and accuracy in charges. Assist in the management of accounts receivable by tracking payments and outstanding balances. Utilize various systems for billing processes, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing and coding is preferred. Familiarity with ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG, and other relevant coding systems is essential.
