Biller Experienced with Accounts Receivables Our office is well established with 9 medical providers. The ideal candidate must be a productive, well-organized, and a quicker learner, that possesses a great attention to detail. Daily responsibilities

Include:

Will work all denials from all payers except those requiring medical records. Will include secondary payers. Will include denials for physician services, DME, radiology services, and physical therapy services. May assist Worker Comp Specialist with WC denials if necessary and as needed. Will review denials caused by discrepancies between the codes and notes with the Medical Coder as well as the physician(s) to prevent future denials from reoccurring. Will submit all denials for no authorization and/or no referral to the Billing Manager. Will work with the appropriate authorization/referral coordinator to obtain retroactive authorizations as needed. Will also have reviewed the chart for misfiled authorizations and/or referrals and re-educate the staff person that misfiled the document(s) if the document is found. Will submit all denials for no benefits/eligibility to the Billing Manager. Will submit the appropriate documentation to the payer to correct the denial in a timely manner. Will work all payer A/R’s to recover money owed. Will provide the necessary documentation to promote payment from the payer. Will request guidance from the Billing Manager when it becomes evident the payer will not pay the past due amount owed. Will not act as a collection agent nor attempt to collect payments from patients. May assist with answering calls and assisting with billing inquiries within the scope of this position.
