We are currently seeking an Experienced Medical Biller to join our team and help us manage our billing processes smoothly and effectively.

Position Summary:

The Medical Biller will handle all aspects of billing and coding related to our psychiatric services. This includes preparing and submitting insurance claims, following up on unpaid claims, verifying patient insurance, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in medical billing, experience with mental health or psychiatric billing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit accurate claims for psychiatric services Review and appeal claim denials and rejections Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility Follow up on unpaid or delayed claims to maximize reimbursement Maintain detailed billing records and documentation Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to resolve billing issues Payment posting from EOB and patients Co pay and DUD Extensive experience in working on Insurance AR and Patient AR (Primary and Secondary Insurance)

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of medical billing experience, preferably in mental health or psychiatry Strong knowledge of

ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS

coding systems Experience with billing software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, e-clinical (ECW) experience highly preferred . Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently Familiarity with insurance processes and regulations specific to psychiatric billing

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification such as Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
