Job Summary:
We are hiring two experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller/Coder/Collectors to join our team in Altamonte Springs, FL. The ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in medical billing and coding. This role is essential in ensuring accurate coding, compliant billing practices, and efficient claim resolution to support optimal revenue cycle management. ________________________________________
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Billing & Coding:
Accurately apply ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to diagnoses, procedures, and services Review medical records and provider documentation for coding accuracy Submit clean claims to insurance companies and follow up on denials, rejections, and unpaid claims Identify and resolve any discrepancies between documentation and billing data
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, payer rules, and healthcare regulations Ensure documentation supports accurate and complete coding Collaborate with providers, payers, and internal teams to resolve coding or billing-related issues ________________________________________
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Billing & Coding certification preferred CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) strongly preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing and coding and Collections. Familiarity with risk adjustment and CMS guidelines is a plus
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with EHR systems, particularly eClinicalWorks and Office Ally (preferred) Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Soft Skills:
