Revenue Cycle Specialist – Pediatrics Word of Mouth Therapy Statesboro, GA 30458 • Hybrid work Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our pediatric therapy clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process for medical services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations, and communicating with patients regarding their billing accounts. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our practice while supporting patient care through efficient billing practices. Duties Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and government programs. Review and verify patient information, including insurance coverage and eligibility. Utilize medical coding systems such as ICD-10 to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures. Maintain detailed medical records, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with healthcare regulations. Follow up on unpaid claims, resolving any discrepancies or issues with insurance providers. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any billing-related questions or concerns. Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding practices. Skills Proficiency in medical terminology to accurately interpret and process billing information. Knowledge of ICD-10, DRG, and other coding systems relevant to medical billing. Experience working in a medical office setting, familiar with various healthcare systems and processes. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in billing and coding tasks. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
