Pernoshal Court, Atlanta, GA 30338 About us: We are a busy patient-focused OBGYN practice dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to women at all stages of life. We are currently seeking a detailed-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our administrative team.
Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies for OBGYN services. Review coding (CPT. ICD-10) and ensure compliance with current billing regulations. Assist with patient billing inquiries and resolve payment issues. Work closely with front office and clinical staff to ensure smooth billing workflow.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a medical biller, preferably in an OBGYN or women’s health setting. Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS). Familiarity with insurance guidelines (specifically Medicaid and Commercial plans). Proficient in EHR and billing software (eClinical Works, Athenahealth, etc,). Excellent attention to detail and organization skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Medical Billing and Coding (AAPC or AHIMA). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
