) About the Role We are a thriving ophthalmology practice looking for an experienced Medical Biller to lead our billing operations. This role is critical to the financial health of our practice and involves managing insurance claims, coding accuracy, collections, and revenue cycle performance. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of medical billing and collections Submit and track insurance claims (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans) Ensure accurate ophthalmology coding (CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, global periods) Resolve denials, rejections, and unpaid claims Manage the billing team, workflows, and performance goals Train and support staff on billing best practices and compliance Coordinate with payers, patients, and internal teams Prepare and present financial reports and billing audits Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a medical office setting (required) Minimum 3 years in medical billing Strong knowledge of
CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS
