Qualifications Include:
Must have knowledge of Home Health claims billing. Must have billing experience for Medicare, MassHealth, and other Commercial insurance. Must have computer experience – Microsoft Word and Excel, able to create and maintain documents. Must be reliable and dependable. Must be organized and able to multitask efficiently. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Process billing to payers. Investigate denials, resolve, and reconcile all claims for payment. Maintain Account Receivable spreadsheets and balances. Work with outside and internal departments to resolve consumer issues related to billing. Follow billing procedures for all tasks assigned. Answering phone calls. File, Input, monitor, and update data as necessary. Provide administrative support. Assist in keeping the office neat and clean. perform other office duties as required.
