The Role:
We have an exciting new employment opportunity for a Remote Patient Care Representative. This is a full-time, fully remote position, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM . This role is essential to achieving the goals of Shields Health Care Group by delivering exceptional customer service with professionalism, efficiency, and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Manage patient pre-registration across four MRI locations, ensuring accurate capture of medical history and demographic information for seamless patient care. Review and address pending patient clinical tasks appropriately. Identify the need for language services use. Verify and enter essential information into our systems. Maintain confidentiality for all customer groups. Address patient and physician inquiries with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. Keep management informed about situations that may impact the company or specific departments. Stay current with any changes in policies or procedures affecting daily functions. Perform other related duties as assigned.
About You:
Internal candidates: 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
External candidates:
5+ years of experience in a medical office preferred. Strong communication skills and computer proficiency are required. Detail-oriented with a high degree of typing accuracy. Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology required. Medical insurance knowledge is a plus. Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision. Proven capability to multitask and exceed customer expectations. High School Diploma. Ability to sit or stand while using a computer for extended periods. Physical requirements met with or without accommodation.
