Role:

Paragon Sport Spine & Wellness, a leading multi-specialty rehabilitation practice, is hiring a Medical Biller with strong Accounts Receivable experience to join our billing team. We are an out-of-network practice , and we do not write off unpaid claims — we fight for proper reimbursement. We’re looking for someone who is results-driven and experienced in managing denials, underpayments, insurance verification, and payment posting. This is a high-impact role for someone who takes ownership of the A/R process and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Work all aspects of Accounts Receivable, including claim follow-up and denial resolution Call insurance companies to dispute denials, low payments, or claim errors Post payments accurately and reconcile accounts using EOBs and ERAs Verify patient insurance benefits with a focus on out-of-network policies Submit appeals and track payer responses Collaborate with front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate billing data

Qualifications:

2+ years of medical billing experience (A/R and denial management required) Out-of-network billing experience a plus Strong understanding of

CPT/ICD-10

coding, insurance billing, and medical terminology Skilled in reading EOBs/ERAs and explaining payer adjustments Proficient with medical billing software and EMRs Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience:

Background in Physical & Occupational Therapy, chiropractic, Acupuncture and Medical Billing (pain management
