Job Overview:

Immediate opening and excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Collector to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently collecting and managing accounts receivable for a busy orthopedic practice. The ideal candidate will have a positive, “can do” attitude, solid background in resolving medical accounts and strong knowledge of billing processes.

Responsibilities:

Experience:

• Two years’ experience in a medical office or related healthcare environment
• Proficiency in and strong knowledge of medical billing processes
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems
• Ability to work in a detail-oriented and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
