Senior Medical Biller- Interventional Pain Practice and ASC Jasper Ambulatory Surgical Center Township of Brick, NJ 08723 About Us We are a thriving and rapidly growing Interventional Pain Management Practice and Ambulatory Surgery Center , committed to providing exceptional patient care and clinical excellence. Our practice is known for taking on complex cases, operating out of network with most insurers while also accepting Medicare , and rigorously pursuing accurate reimbursement for the high-quality services we provide. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Medical Biller to join our team. This is a leadership role focused on overseeing revenue cycle operations and guiding a team of billers in delivering high performance and results. Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize the entire Accounts Receivable process, including tracking outstanding claims and ensuring timely follow-ups. Lead the charge on denied claims , crafting and submitting appeals, and resolving complex denials to maximize reimbursement. Serve as a subject matter expert on out-of-network billing , reimbursement patterns, and payer behavior. Collaborate with providers and administrative staff to ensure clean claims submission and documentation accuracy. Proactively monitor payer trends , claim statuses, and reimbursements to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Provide mentorship and day-to-day oversight to the billing team , fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and excellence. Work directly with leadership to track KPIs and optimize revenue cycle performance . Proficient in Eclinicalworks (ECW) Qualifications 5+ years of medical billing experience in a physician practice or ASC setting (required). Strong expertise in denials management, appeals, and A/R recovery , especially in out-of-network scenarios. Solid working knowledge of Medicare billing guidelines and payer reimbursement policies. Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and train other billers . Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the drive to “fight for proper reimbursement” on behalf of the practice. Ability to work independently, stay proactive, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
