• Analyze physician billing accounts to identify and resolve credit balances, refunds, and underpayments.
• Coordinate daily workflows and support staff in executing timely and compliant account resolutions.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.
• Conduct insurance follow-up and utilize payer contracts tovalidate and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payer recoupments and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with ancillary departments including Insurance AR Follow-up and Cash Posting.
• Provide analytical support and oversight of collection agencyactivities.

Necessary Skills and Strengths:

Physician Billing|Medical Insurance |

Medical Terminology Core Experience:

• 2+ years of revenue cycle experience
• Provider based billing experience
• Experience reconciling patient accounts (refunds/underpayments)
