Medical Biller 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Columbia, SC 29201 A busy medical practice in Columbia is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance claims, payment posting, and denial management across various payers.
Key Responsibilities:
Submit and follow up on insurance claims (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) Post payments and reconcile accounts Work claim denials, file appeals, and ensure timely reimbursement Verify patient insurance and benefits Handle patient billing inquiries professionally and clearly Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records in EMR systems Collaborate with front office and clinical teams to resolve billing issues
Qualifications:
