Description We are looking for a Front Counter Clerk to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a contract position with an opportunity for permanent conversion after three months, offering excellent county benefits upon transition. The role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality while managing financial transactions and court-related documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Handle cash transactions, including high-value court fees, with accuracy and a focus on precision.
- Process and apply various fees while ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- File and organize documents meticulously to prevent errors or misplacements.
- Respond to inbound inquiries, providing courteous and efficient service.
- Utilize accounting and billing software systems to manage payments and records effectively.
- Ensure the proper handling of sensitive paperwork to avoid legal discrepancies.
- Maintain a detail-oriented appearance and demeanor in accordance with workplace standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations at the front counter. Requirements
