A minimum of three to six years of professional accounting or auditing experience is required. Recruitment Notes The Manager Financial Reporting will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial reporting process to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including those set by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), and other relevant regulatory bodies. This position includes the preparation, review, and presentation of financial statements and reports, most notably the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). In addition to leading the financial reporting function, this position will also be responsible for supervising the Educational Facilities Impact Fees Program and overseeing the Statement of County Funded Court-Related Functions audits, ensuring these programs are managed in accordance with all applicable laws, reporting requirements, and accounting standards. This position will be part of the County Accounting and Reporting Support division, reporting directly to the Assistant Division Director. This position will be a contributing member to the Financial Reporting section, where this individual will be responsible for overseeing accounting practices and reporting policies are in accordance with all applicable laws, standards, and regulations. This position will directly supervise the Financial Reporting Administrator and Financial Reporting Coordinator, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development support.
