SUMMARY/ DESCRIPTION
The Osceola County Clerk of Circuit Court & County Comptroller is looking to hire a highly motivated individual willing to grow and develop within an environment driven by a culture of service. We’re seeking to recruit for an individual who can efficiently manage and maintain our historical records, as well as handle data entry tasks for our retention center located at Poinciana for a total of 40 hours a week.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform data entry in the case management system. Pull, scan, and, respond, and upload records that are requested. Audit and organize records in accordance with records retention standards and policy. Digitize and index documents for electronic records management ensuring accuracy and document classification for digital archiving. Communicate with coworkers, management, staff, and others in a courteous and professional manner. Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Type 35 WPM Computer skills and knowledge of software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Time management and organizational skills. Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Bilingual (preferred)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Preferred, three (3) years of responsible experience in clerical/secretarial support functions, to include applied knowledge in recording minutes and maintaining records, or Equivalent combination of certification, training, and/or experience. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. May need to meet Clerk’s testing requirements. Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting in front of a computer and standing for long periods of time. Frequent and repetitive stooping, lifting, reaching, and bending. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
