Caretaking Assistant Manager – Cottage Rentals (Exempt) Position Available In Glynn, Georgia

During your thorough walkthroughs of properties, you and the team will provide document findings, provide recommendations for appropriate maintenance and assist with coordinating routine improvements. You will build relationships with the homeowners and help exceed their expectations. You will also build relationships with our vendor partners to ensure that all financial goals are met. You will build, inspire and grow a team that can to independently complete all tasks and goals for the benefit of all stakeholders. You are a gracious ambassador for Sea Island with every interaction. You support team members in providing friendly, attentive, and timely Five Star guest service. You live and share your passion for genuine hospitality in your commitment to enriching lives. You will learn how to consistently uphold and ensure compliance with departmental procedures, including standards for quality, timing, attendance, appearance. You follow and ensure all Sea Island safety protocols are consistently met. You maintain situational awareness of your surroundings, keeping an eye on all areas for tidiness and any general maintenance issues, ensuring that all are corrected or reported immediately. You are generous with your support and help resolve any service issues that arise in a timely and positive way, following up as needed. You are proactive in aiding when needed and are willing to help with other areas or duties as requested. You are willing and can timely execute other duties as delegated by leadership.

Physical Requirements:

Minimum (3) three years’ experience in property caretaking role or similar experience Valid driver’s license with a reasonable driving record Must be at least 21 years of age to drive company vehicles Physical strength and stamina to perform the role, maintain ongoing, prolonged physical activity – Must have the ability to work in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain and higher than normal noise levels Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, stretch, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods – comfortable working at heights (roofs and ladders) Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
