JOB SUMMARY
- Job opening is locacted in the
- Bradford County Domestic Relations Office performing a variety of highly skilled tasks regarding case initiation/retention and financial related work as required.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS
- This position requires a number of routine intake services provided for clients; Deals with complex cases involving knowledge of intrastate and local laws, along with posting payments, adjusting court orders, checking files, closing cases and basic accounting functions.

JOB FUNCTIONS
- -Files interstate and local complaints and petitions-Schedule cases for conferences and master hearings-Attend court hearings-Completes three-year reviews in accordance with Federal and State Law-Expertly completes case initiation functions of PACSES-Deals with other state courts as well as tribunals-Does nightly mail-Answers phones and answers general questions-Takes in over-the-county payments and posts daily-Prints and distributes reports daily-Makes the bank deposit daily-Do adjustments on the PACSES system-Check files that have been adjusted-Close cases on the PACSES system-All other duties as assigned•
REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and
ABILITIES
- Through knowledge of methods used in keeping child support records and of office terminology, procedures, routines and equipment. Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written directions and the ability to get along with others
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE and
TRAINING
- Some experience in clerical work which involved typing at the level of Clerk Typist I.
Completion of High School Diploma or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
Business school training highly desirable.
