Full Job Description Salary Range:

• Salary is commensurate with paid full-time experience.

The purpose of this classification is to assist the Clerk and Master, the Assistant Clerk and Master, all office supervisors, attorneys, law office personnel and staff, law enforcement, various Judges and Clerks and their staff and the general public in the operations of the Chancery Court Clerk and Master’s Office. The Front Counter/Intake Deputy Clerk and Master is a deputized officer of the Chancery Court and is charged with upholding the local rules of that court, the statues of the State of Tennessee, and the Constitution of the United States. The Deputy Clerk and Master reports to and is supervised by the Chief Deputy, Assistant Clerk and Master and the Clerk and Master.
