We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail oriented office assistant to support a growing company in the Birmingham area. This role involves front desk responsibilities, customer service, light accounting support, and general administrative duties. Quickbooks experience is a must. $17 – $18 per hour

High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

Greet visitors in a professional, welcoming manner and direct them appropriately
Handle customer inquiries in person, via phone, and through email, providing prompt and courteous service
Assist the accounting department with invoicing and data entry in QuickBooks
Maintain a clean and organized office environment
Perform general administrative tasks including filing, scanning, mailing, and correspondence management
Provide additional support and complete other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Prior administrative or office support experience preferred
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a must
strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work independently Skills
