Job Summary Performs a variety of routine office support duties within the School of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Science ( SFAAS). Essential Functions Serve as a point of contact for the school.
Greets undergraduate and graduate student learners, and School visitors in person or via telephone.
Assists Director, faculty and students of SFAAS on as-needed basis.
Monitor work orders and general maintenance needs as they arise.
Provides administrative assistance to include travel vouchers, purchasing card reconciliation, vendor vouchers, and associated documents. Will also provide administrative support for Finance, HR, and Admin staff as needed and requested.
Support faculty and staff, and especially students with travel arrangements and reimbursement, book travel arrangements (e.g., hotels, flights, busses) for trips.
Assists Director with internal and external communications, including blogs, newletters, website content creation and social media.
Follow-up with students’ inquiries, communicate policy and procedures with students. Why Work at Auburn?

Knowledge of customer service and office related duties. Desired Qualifications Experience with Self Service Banner/AU Access, Kronos, Word, Excel, Outlook, WordPress, Social Media, Website Maintenance, PowerPoint, PeopleAdmin and with AU policies and procedures are desired.
