Madison Village is a Community Senior Life Development facility, where our focus is creating an enriching, remarkable senior living experience for our residents. Position Overview:
The Assistant Administrator supports the Executive Director in the daily operations of our independent and assisted living facilities. This vital role focuses on enhancing resident, family, and staff engagement while ensuring regulatory compliance and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in supervising and motivating staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and objectives. Lead resident services teams to deliver high-quality care and experiences. Coordinate move-ins and transitions for residents and maintain collaborative care planning. Assist with community tours and marketing efforts. Organize special events and support community engagement. Respond promptly to resident or staff concerns to ensure satisfaction and positive outcomes. Oversee operations of resident services departments including dining, housekeeping, transportation, and activities. Support onboarding and orientation of new residents.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Education:
High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in senior living, with background in sales, customer service, or leadership. Supervisory experience is a plus.
Alabama Administrator License Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership ability, problem-solving mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A genuine commitment to serving seniors with care, respect, and compassion.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally and exert up to 20 lbs. frequently. This position involves a variety of physical movements including walking, standing, lifting, and reaching.
