Full Job Description Job Description and Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe environment for clients and staff at all times. Step in as a substitute for Autism Technicians when necessary. Support Autism Technicians in crisis situations, including de-escalation efforts. Oversee and coordinate office maintenance, mailing, supply orders, equipment management, bill payments, errands, and shopping needs. Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments. Answer incoming calls and relay messages professionally and promptly. Organize office layout and manage the procurement of workstations and equipment. Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of office and teaching areas. Collaborate with HR to update and enforce office policies as needed. Streamline and manage office operations and administrative procedures. Liaise with the IT department to support and maintain office technology. Verify timely invoicing and payment of all office-related items. Generate accurate and timely reports as required. Provide courteous support to visitors and clients. Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees. Respond to employee inquiries related to office management (e.g., supplies, time off, payroll). Plan and coordinate internal and external events such as team celebrations, meetings, and conferences.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) required. Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Crisis management certification or willingness to obtain. Prior experience as an administrative assistant, office manager, or in a similar role preferred. Reliable transportation and valid insurance. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Positive, team-oriented attitude. Strong knowledge of administrative systems and office procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, printers, and copiers. Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. Creative and proactive in suggesting operational improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
