POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Operations Support Specialist is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, authorizing, and monitoring claims and/or analytics reporting related to Specialty Care Management programs and medical record collection. This role requires strong administrative and analytical skills to ensure accurate claims processing, reporting, and seamless customer service.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct claims reviews for covered and non-covered services. Research and resolve claims and billing issues. Document claim review results and ensure timely updates. Collaborate with claims teams and providers to address issues. Manage medical record collection and maintain positive relationships with vendors. Provide excellent customer service, updating member information and vendor portals. Assist with various financial, programmatic, and administrative reporting. Provide reporting and data analysis. Perform routine audits of patient records related to analytics/reporting. Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and answering calls.

Adhere to established safety standards and utilizes proper techniques to avoid work-related injuries.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Knowledge of claims processing preferred. Medical office experience is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function as a team player. Experience in medical office settings. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical office environment.
