Assistant Long Term Care Administrator Position Available In Sebastian, Arkansas

Assistant Long Term Care Administrator Confidential Fort Smith, AR 72903 To support the Administrator and the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards governing long-term care facilities, to ensure that the highest practicable level of care is provided to the residents.

• Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing and/or meet all applicable federal and state Licensure requirements
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Previous experience and knowledge of Medicare and Skilled Services
• Previous experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility and/or demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
• Must have working knowledge of reimbursement regulations, nursing practices and procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care
• Must possess ability to efficiently problem-solve, plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation
• Must be able to maintain good staff relations and employee moral
• Good human relations skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
