07/11/2025 Seeking an Administrative Assistant to join Academy of International Studies 6-12 in Bloomfield, CT•Position Purpose Provides a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative and secretarial support, communicating information and assisting and ensuring compliance with department/program policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions Composes documents and correspondence for the purpose of requesting or providing information, confirming events, etc. Prepares copies and distributes notices, memoranda or other correspondence for the purpose of informing employees, students, parents, and others regarding activities, events or other work-related matters. Attends meetings as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions. Assists in maintaining the calendar for the program for the purpose of coordinating the scheduling of work-related appointments, activities, meetings,etc. Assists in planning and scheduling events and activities. Assists in maintaining documents, confidential files and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference for compliance. Answers telephone calls, and provides information and assistance to callers. Serves as liaison with outside organizations. Monitors office supply needs. Acts as a liaison for IT, office equipment and facility needs. Coordinates and manages confidential students’ Individualized Education Plans and related paperwork.
